13th marathon-length run of 2024, looping Lake Sammamish — a planned 31-mile road run that turned into trail running when Weowna Park happened at mile 12.
Running update: for my 13th marathon run this Sunday, I decided to run around Lake Sammamish.
I actually planned for a 31-mile scenic run, aiming at hitting every park along the way, then Weowna Park happened at the 12-mile mark, and my road running suddenly became trail running, with 187ft EG in 0.5 mile! I had to walk on parts of it!
