Very proud to receive my first COVID vaccine — incredibly lucky and privileged.

Very proud to have received my first dose of COVID vaccine today. How incredibly lucky and privileged I am to be living in this time and benefiting from this scientific miracle, an mRNA-based vaccine developed within a record time!
So many things had to happen before this moment to make it real: the long string of scientific ingenuities, the bravery of immigrants, a place where merits and innovations are still rewarded regardless of race, color, religion, and national origin, the persistent pursuit for a scientific dream, the personal sacrifices and perseverance, and the incredibly disciplined teamwork - all of these ingredients to make up this little dose of medicine just in time!
